Meet The VaVoca Team

Chad Lester
Co-founder and solely responsible (for now) for VaVoca’s infrastructure development and technology.
After graduating from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio with a BS and MS in Computer Science, Chad spent 3 years at Intel and then joined what was a tiny operation at Google in 2001. At Google Chad was involved in the development of nearly every aspect of the advertising system and is now happily a member of the official "Xoogler" ranks.

Drea Lester
Co-founder and responsible for VaVoca’s design and daily operations.
Drea spent over a decade in the aviation industry as a pilot in both commercial and corporate aviation and recently with Cirrus Design Aircraft in Sales and Marketing. Educated at Transylvania University in Lexington, Kentucky roaming the world gave her the kind of entrepreneurial skills to start a small business, learn to fly, and most recently learn the intricacies of HTML, CSS, and the RoR markup syntax.

Anand Swaminathan
Co-founder and responsible for VaVoca’s business and marketing strategy.
Anand has spent over a decade providing technology, consulting, and outsourcing services to financial services firms globally and as a Partner at Accenture has led complex strategy, systems implementation, and business process outsourcing efforts for Fortune 100 clients. Anand received a BA in Economics and an MBA from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.

Aline Cordeiro - Marketing Intern
Aline hails from Brazil and currently lives in San Francisco where she is honing her English proficiency while caring for a toddler as an Au Pair. Aline has joined the VaVoca team to help us support our marketing efforts. She is currently studying theater and hopes to pursue a career in journalism upon her return to Brazil.
